I agree 18in would be ideal to get in the perfect OEM spot, but since i was paying 300bux, i got a few extra inches so i would be able to hide the big @$$ wireloom in the engine bay a bit more

I can't wait till Chino can swap a motor out in a few hours and have it running. At Bamburi MS we could do an SR20DET into an s13 and have it running in about 4 hours. So come one Chino you gotta get faster so you can break the record.

with a team of people thats done the 2j to 1j swap in a SC300, i dont see why this couldnt be done in under 6hrs fully prepped ready to go (extended harness). With at least 4 people working, i can see it done in 4 hours. I think total actuall work time in my swap is maybe 6hrs

Wait, didnt you say your swap isnt in the car yet??? How can you report how many hours you have into it...with it being into your car? Im not trying to talk trash I just dont think you give an accurate estimate of how much time it has taken you to do the swap until it is completely done.

Of course your right considering I even made it clear in the post that I wasnt talking trash
Way to jump to conclusions though and try to instigate something that wasnt there. I have no beef with "VJ". Maybe next time you will allow him to reply to my post and he can determine if he thought I was trying to insult him.

I'm not cranking it over until its fully ready and checked over 100 times, i'm not in a race to have it done in 2 days. I work all weekend and my next day off is tuesday, thats my next free day to get some mandrel bent pipe for hardlines. Without that = no start. I wanna get an electric fan wired on there first also. My goal to get it done is for the november 6th car meet, so i got plenty of time
(im missing the upper IC pipe so i cant test it stock)
