I run forums, its a setting, the site owner doesnt want people browsing without registration.
As far as motors, i keep in close touch with JHOT, they fully inspect every motor they sell, and if one bad one does slip thru, they work with ppl to resolve the issue.

Copy and pasted from Supra forums
"AFAIK, when I see a car advertised as having a JDM motor, I'm going to steer as wide a berth around it as I can. Think about this - they know the engine is only allowed X amount of years or mileage, whatever that may be, before it becomes too expensive to warrant keeping the car on the road. This is why there are so many JDM motors available. Now, if you are an average Japanese driver, are you going to bother changing the oil, ever? This guy didn't. I've done many JDM to USDM covnersions now and by the time we are done pulling the motor down and replacing virtually every part of it, there is no real advantage money wise to buying it in the first place.
At least the cylinders are near perfect, no scars, and th ecams and pistons are in good shape. The rings and all bearings are going in the trash and the whole setup is at my machinist getting a spa treatment. We'll lap the valves back in to improve the compression results and crosshatch the cylinder walls before reassembly, and then we really get to work!
After spending $2000 for the motor, and another $2000 in prep work and parts, a used USDM motor is a far better direction to go considering having to replace the turbos, cams and injectors as well as the oil pan assembly to fit the Supra."
Just my $45.02

Well after reading this post, I had to check under my valve covers. Wasn't too happy with what I found. I removed the spark plug from the sixth cylinder (furthest one back) and there was a good amount of oil on the threads, I don't know what this means, It seemed to only be on the threads and not on the tip. Well it looks like i'll be pulling the head off this thing to be cleaned up. I mean it doesn't look as bad as the one shown up top but I don't know I'd hate to have to tear this thing down.

I'm glad i got lucky and got a mint condition motor. Under the valve covers it looks brand new
