Default should i buy

yes i know people don't recommend ebay turbos, but i am not sure what size turbo to upgrade to. i don't want big numbers, just high 300 range for now. just looking for something to get the car sidewayz.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB..._BID_Stores_IT

is anyone using a similar type of turbo? does it spool fast? this is for my 1jz, but might need it for my 2jz if the 1jz breaks.

You cant get sideways with your stock 1JZ turbos???????? U got something wrong there buddy!!! My bone stock psi 1JZ has no problem gettin sideways on the automatic thru the first 2 and sometimes 3 gears.

Oh BTW, that turbo is junk, save ur pennys for a GT35R

Getting a car sideways is more about the driver and less about the car. If you're having problems getting your car to respond the way you want it to then I'd suggest spending more time getting to know her. Putting a bigger turbo on before you're completely familiar with your car will just further complicate things because it wil once again require you to learn how to drive it. Even the best drivers in the world require a few laps in a new vehicle before they can really push it.

I can drift my stock 2JZGE sc300 like a pro, its not about HP. As far as power, how much are u looking for? 300rwhp? 400rwhp? 500rwhp? If your shooting for around 400ish, just get some cams and run 15psi on the stock twinz. If you wanna go single, dont half *** it, do it right or dont do it at all

Oh, werd ok... Hm unsure, its a stage 4? I didnt know we were playing grand turismo. I have no idea what stage 4 means on that turbo. I wouldnt buy but youd have to get a hold of a turbo expert to read the specs and map to see what it really does, is. No ball bearing = no buy

Good man

I say get something like an HKS GT3037 on a custom high mount manifold with all the supporting gear, good for about 400~450HP (according to their website).

my honest opinion it is a decent size turbo but the qauility is not very good. you can get a decent turbo for a good price try garrett or even precision turbo. i think you can get a sc61 turbo which is altmost a gt35r but a precision version and w/o ball bearing for like 600 dollars and that turbo is good for like 500 hp easy and the spool time is good
