What in the world is this?
Trying to find out what does this thing do, Also, it looks like I'm missing something the screws on the top of it. Any sugestions?

Any auto parts stores sells the hi/low side caps. CAP IT IMMEDIATELY! YOU'RE RELEASING CHLOROFLUOROCARBONS AND YOU'RE GOING TO DEPLETE THE OZONE LAYER AND KILL US ALL!!! Just kidding... I would cap it. Someone probably serviced your a/c and forgot to put it back on.

I went to Advanced autos and they did not have the old r12 cap. they have the r134 i believe. Any thoughts of where i can get or order one without have to search through a junk yard.

I'm sure he'd pop one off and put it through snail mail for a small fee.
