2JZ-GTE swap into a SC400
can anyone tell me if swapping in the GTE into the 400 is more of a headache than its worth? Should I sell my 400 and try to find a 300?

Just for what it's worth.
Does the 1/2jz drop into the sc400 engine bay or is a sc300 subframe needed. What does not fit.
Reason I ask is tha a friend of mine has a sc400 that he would like to use for track use(never on the street). The 400 engine and trans is toast and he was thinking of installing a 1jz with a 5speed and running a microtech stand allone ecu.
So what would it take to drop a jz engine trans into an sc400 sans electronics?

Can any one be more specific, wondering how much more involved. wondering about cooling issues, subframe issues, guage cluster issues, stuff like that. also curious as to the diff my 400 has. Is it a LSD, cause it seems to light up two tires at times?
