Lights dimm and car seems to turn off and back on?

i decide top do a comp test 1st just to see what i'd get.
I drove the car for about 15 mins and then did the comp test. here are the results - starting from the front of the car 223,203,235,237,190,200 i then put a cap full of oil in to the 2nd cy and the comp test came up to 235 and i did the same to the 5th and got 203. I found a lot off oil on 4 out of 6 plugs some had grime on then and some just had oil. From search im guessing its a bad valve cover gasket...plugs had lots of oil on the bottom and ther was some oil on the wire boot that connects to the top of the plug.
Does anyone know what this could mean? i and yes i did a search
I did a search and saw someone say standard comp 160?
wouldnt a bad hg = very low compression numbers?

wait.. before we get into the compression test #'s.
you drove it around for 15 minutes? was it overheating or running really hot?
are you using/ loosing coolant? did it run better/ worse the most you drove?
did the smoke from the exhaust get less or more?

I drove it to and from work then got home and let it sit then drove it for another 15 mins to get it warm again. Theres always alot of white smoke when i 1st start the car up but when i start driving the smoke gets less but still keeps coming out maybee cause im moving. No overheating, i would have to say it feels the same no matter how short or long the drive is. but some times i can smelll coolant but i dont see any coolant drops on my garage floor and the oil from the dip stick doesnt look cloudy from what i can tell. The car doesnt seem to have the start up problem anymore....but the thick white smoke still comes out the exhuast.
The car does have a some oil leaks.
i dont know what to think anymore...and my t-bo kit just arrived...

ted,
since the light dimming problem is resolved, i think you should open a new thread for
this problem. i'm missing the right question to ask for some reason. maybe a different
point of view is needed. if i could see, drive & smell it, it would be a different story.
if you can, redo the compression test. i know its a PIA, but the #'s are messing w/ me.
1st guess is there maybe a problem between #5 & 6 as they are both low in comparison.
overall how does it drive: same as always, ruff or terrible. the oil on top of the plugs &
wires can cause a heavy miss. what your seeing on the tip maybe fuel & not oil.
you never said if your missing/using coolant.
when you start the new thread, pm me a link so i'll see it.
