i'm running well over 3,500 lol
sorry, and mine doesn't even have BPUs, but little things add up

doesn't help that the clip alone was ~3000.

don't forget you guys have nicer 2jzs that my, and when you swap you get to sell things like that and make some money back.

i don't recoomend BANKING on a sale, but it will help if it does (don't go max a credit card out)

right now i'm trying to figure out what to do about the driveshaft for the R154.
I'm going to TRY taking a mkiii supra R154 DS and a W58 DS to this custom place, and see if it'll work. I believe I read about doing it this way before :-\. i don't have a Soarer driveshaft, or any piece of it, so i can't use that. Anyone wanna tell me i'm right/wrong here so i know before too late?

but for now, gotta try getting the engine moved over.

What are your thoughts on using a zener diode to bypass fuel cut?

you can make cut controllers w/ simple electronics, but i wouldn't do it unless i had to.

STI is where i got my motor, and i have some complaints. they told me everything pictured would be included. The took my "race pedals", my trd oil cap, and my suspension.
also got a feeling they took the digital cluster along w/ turbo timer+ who knows what was in the center area. . .
mention this to them if you like, and make sure they are giving you EVERYTHING in the damn picture. they wont return my calls, and tell me their main person is gone each time i call...shady

if you can do it the way the pros do it, go for it.
i'm mechanical, not electrical, and that stuff just drives me insane. . .
i'd rather pay the $ then have to think that stuff through, lol.

This may be a stupid question, but..

What boost level is safe to run on the stock CT12A turbos and 93 octane? Would a stock SC300 or 400 fuel pump be a limiting factor or the 1JZ injectors? Any info on the FP's or injectors? I believe 1JZ injectors are 380cc, correct?

Here is info I've found on converting to 550cc MKIV injectors. Any ideas as to the power (wattage) rating of the resistors for the MKIV injectors? I also read that the rev speed limiter hits at 122mph and fuel cut occurs around 12-14psi. Any details on this speed limiter??

Speed cut is 110mph, Fuel cut is around .9 bar give or take.

380cc injectors at 100% duty cycle can support around 380hp.

The limiting factor of the stock CT12A turbo's are their blades. Anything past 1bar of boost and your playing with fire. People has successfully gone to 18psi with no problems, but common between the 1JZ crowd 1 bar is about as high as you want to go on a normal basis. 93 octane is fine.

You can run 1 bar of boost all day, and on a wideband o2, you'll actually read rich without any kind of add on ecu or afpr.

Thanks. Reportedly, the turbos can be good up to 18psi if you replace the "Y" downpipe with one of a better design. Also, MKIV ct12b or starlet ct9 steel comp wheels can supposedly swap over to ct12a turbos... Only problem would be balancing, I guess.
