Default Almost Done with the Car

well i finally got thecar back with the ic piping done. Fmic is also custom mounted.

as of these pictures the fmic wasnt 100% finished. the top mounts werent bolted in but the brackets that were made are there.

another thing was that the Bumper support hasnt been drilled. Iam drilling 3 inch holes in the support to flow some more air into the fmic.

The piping is 3 Inch Aluminum and the BOV is a HKS SSQV

K & N Filter and 3 inch Piping also.

any questions you can ask as you wish.

the car looks great and the welds look pretty darn good. now im not trying to nit-pick but had a question on one of the pics. in this pic....

the dark line that is on the weld, is that just a shadow or ? from the pic it looks like it is lacking penetration but then again its probably the pic. just wanted to make sure you dont have any probs when shes all finished. like i said it looks great, good cleaning by whatever machine you used, and i want to see it when shes done

Great job! I just finished my 5speed conversion and am now moving on to phase 2 - Turbo. I wanted to ask you..

Where is your battery going to go?
What exactly did you do to relocate it and is it in a safe spot where it cant ruin anything?
I like the way you routed the Intercooler piping. What part of CA are you from?

iam buying one of those real slim oddssey batteries 680mjt i beleive.
iam not sure if i can make it fit in the engine bay. if not off to the rear it goes.
the way u keep the battery from ruining anything is by using a battery box.

and iam in southern california

yeah its a welding term. it means how far deep in the seam the metal is welded. if the weld looks like it sits on top of the metal or the weld looks flat with shine than penetration is probably not there. if the guys are good at welding it should be penetrated. like i said its probably the picture. keep up the good work
