That vent has been the topic of many debates and whether air actually flows through it into the car. Some say it does(which would support putting the filter there) but others say that because of the location above the nose and the air being deflected upward, a low pressure zone is created actually pulling air out.

If youre feeling gains then to power you and it works. It looks awesome.
Well i didnt feel a difference between having it under the headlight and where it is now (with the old filter). I think some air would go in there, im going to have to check into that though for sure, (somehow, i have no idea what im goign to have to fab up to find out if air does flow in there or not). I have some theories.... well see though, ill try and do it soon and post back up asap.

Thanks for the compliments guy

well i just bought straight tubing and two 90 degree bent pipes, you'll end up cutting the 90 degree pipes where you see fit, you just like stick it in there, see what needs to be cut, cut it, move on to the next piece

I havent yet, im going to put some sort of shield between the grill and my filter so that when rain enters the grill, it will hit the shield and drip off of it and keep my filter nice and dry.

The bend just looks so extreme that it wouldn't flow all that great but very different indeed. Props.
As for your shield idea remember that the intake sucks in air so make the shield low enough where if water drips down it doesn't just get sucked up after it drips.
