I shimed my accumulators also. unfortunatly they don't help the launch. the shifts were much better. :-)
The video of my car n the buick was with a built trans, but a stock TQ.
it's only effected the shifts, not the launch.

I noticed this as soon as you posted, but wanted to gather a bit more evidence. I've got that evidence now x 2.

YOU have created BOTH these secondary accounts of turbobuilt and seco600tt making all these false performance claims. Don't even try to debate me on this, I have concrete technical proof.

I am placing an infraction on your account for 12 months for violation of our terms of service. This is the ONLY warning you will receive and you will be banned permanently if you try this childish spoofing again on our forum.

OK guys, I just spent the last 15 mins. reading this thread and dumping all the posts related to false claims made by this guy (sc400nitro) AKA (turbobuilt) (seco600tt) and (SCNYC)

He is banned!

Now lets get back to enjoying our V8's and what they are made of.

Thanks, gents. I guess he's just a kid who wanted to stir things up a little. I could see his tail by his mentioning about seeing or running a domestic powerful car...LOL. This forum should be respected, as well as the people who sweat to mod their Lexus babies.

Hey guys, thought some of you might be interested in this.

I got bored one night. This shows MOST of my track runs. I know I'm missing a few 1/8 mile runs. Also, I did not bother putting in the runs I made at Darlington since the time slips were hand written with no dates.

I'm fairly sure I have the mods listed correctly.

I have definately made some progress!

So.....some awesome news! I'm still in shock.

I ran the 1/8 today. I removed my subwoofer and left the laptop at home. Still a little heavy on gas but not nearly as bad as I was on my last trip to the track.

I go hoping to get my 60fts in the low 1.8's...hoping to run some 8.1's. Well, most of my runs had low 1.9's. I was running very consistent 8.2's.

Then, something amazing happened. With a 1.788 60ft I ran a freakin 8.038! A few runs later with a slightly higher 60 I ran an 8.017.

Being on the safe side, that 8.017 should equal a 12.39! Likely a few hundreths faster!

Like I said, I'm still in shock. Just wish I could have run like that when I was in Rockingham. I might be able to make the test in tune coming up next month.

I should mention it was 55 degrees out. Was about 70 when I ran the 12.85. But my IAT temps were still sitting around 100 by the time I was staged.

Man, I wish I did have one. My stupid camera broke a while back and I'm too poor to buy a new one.

The vid of the 12.9 run at Rockingham was taken by a fellow forum member who I met up with at the track. In case you haven't seen it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8YFwC94O5U Sorry, it's the best I can do.

Went to Darlington dragway in South Carolina last night. Conditions less than perfect. About 66 degrees and VERY humid. I could feel the moisture in the air. So I think the track was a bit wet not to mention the air density. LOL.

Anyway, best run -

RT - .121
60 - 1.872 (only half way descent 60 I got all night)
330 - 5.386
1/8 - 8.208 @ 87.26
1000 - 0.0 (not listed for some reason)
1/4 - 12.685 @ 110.67

This is very good considering the damp air and track. I had a can of octane boost that I forgot to put in. My runs steadily got worse after that run, crappy 60fts and lower mph's.

If I could have only managed to hit that 1.8 60ft again. Oh well. I still think I could run (very) high 11's with some good air and a good set of sticky tires.

I have some in car video I'm going to upload a bit later BTW.

Congrats! Seeing these kinds of numbers really inspires a person to keep the SC400 around and invest a few more pennies!

I have no clue what I'd run when I finish my build, but I am hoping for a pretty decent number. Keep up the good work!
