Cold start/hesitation on SC300
what's up guys my 95SC300 spd was running a little sluggish a month ago so i figured i would start with changing the plugs. i've changed the plugs twice to oem denso plugs and the car would miss sometimes after 3000 rpms like crazy like gas is not going through the system or something, so next thing i did was replaced the fuel filter, cap and rotor. car ran alot better but couple days ago it was real cold and i went to start the car, it would crank like normal but won't start so i took engine fuse out for few seconds put it back in and then started like normal. Car still misses sometimes here and there and can't figure out the problem since no check engine light is on. Only things i haven't changed is the plug wires, fuel pump and injectors.
Let me know guys this problem is driving me crazy

Did you clean the throttle body, if so, you might have accidently pluged up the 3 small vacume holes that are in the TB.
If the three holes the vacume lines run into the TB get pluged up the problems you are describing sound the same.
Make sure the holes are clean, just disconect the vacume lines and spray air or TB cleaner through the pipes that lead into the TB.
I hope this helps

Here is the suggestions out of the Repair Manual for a 92 SC300
1. INSPECT INJECTOR OPERATION
Check operation sound from each injector
(a) With the engine running or cranking, use a stethescope to check that there is normal operating noise in proportion to engine rpm.
(b) If you have no stethescope, you can check the injectors for transmission operation with your finger. If no sound or an unusual sound is heard, check the wiring connector, injector or injection signal from the ECU.
2. INSPECT INJECTOR RESISTANCE
(a) Disconnect the injector connector.
(b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance betweenthe terminals
Resistance 13.4 - 14.2 ohm at 20 degrees C (68 degrees F)
If the resistance is not specified, replace the injector.
(c) reconnect the injector
I hope this helps

I've had my car missing before, it wasn't from the cold, but I finally put some good plugs in my car, and it helped...but only after I reset the ECU. I think it had adjusted everything so much to accomodate for the the crappy plugs, it still ran crappy with good plugs.
Try resetting the ECU.
