1992 SC400 Gear Shifter
My 1992 Lexus SC400's Gear shifter has problems, everytime i shift to N the button pops up and my OD button doesnt click in. Wear can i BUY another gear shifter for the lexus?

By original you mean . . .
But by the sound of your problems it may not be the shifter doing it. I would make sure by removing it and shifting it without the **** on. There's a little plastic collar on the bottom, just pull it down and you'll se the two screws that hold it on.
If you have grey interior send me a PM. If not you can check the SC300/400 classified section.

Put the car into neutral and with your foot on the brake pedal, push down the plastic on the bottom of the shifter (it won't go down unless in N, D or 2). Make sure the 2 screws are in tight. Also look to see that the plastic isn't broken around those 2 screws.
Could also be that the internals of your shifter are broken and by putting it in N, it's causing the broken pieces to bind the OD button. Best way to find out is to remove it and shake it. If you see parts falling out, you'll need a new shifter.
