Also add this to the list of things that dont need repair but are annoying:
The vacuum hose to the Ps pump had a split in it, but looked ok. Pump made noise for 3 days and i changed fluid and all, still made noise. Finally found the split in the line but too late, pump peremantly has a slight whine to it now. That will never get fixed as long as it doesn't ever leak or get as loud as yours Peter
GT40-88 from my reading has a smaller inducer then the 67tho. Gamer on the GT40-67 with cams had no problems with it, especially with the auto. 4xxxRPM spool @ 18psi and redline around 9 grand. Im still trying to figure out what to do about an ECU. No one here in FL tunes Fcon's, what i seriously want. Emanage sucks on a 1jz, pulls timing like a safc. Im still lost on what to control it with. I cant afford to do a custom AEM or Haltec unless i sell the RC.

peter he doesn;t mean a 88 mm inducer. rather a 88 mm exducer mated to a 63.5mm inducer. with a gt40 turbine wheel. Turbo max effeciency and max rated rwhp is 700-7500rwhp. not the crazy 88mm turbo that is rated to 1000-1100rwhp.

Since i plan to take my redline to around 9-9500, i think the GT40-88 might suit me better then the GT40-67. Dunno yet still researching

yeah 88mm turbo for a 2.5l engine would be overkill unless you had a 6000rpm stall and revved to 11k. How is life going peter. Gonan swap my car soon. as soon as i fidn a decent motor. know of anyone? You know me Gonna try to blow away some records with the 1jz

I'm sure you will set some records with the 1jz. I wish I was staying in the SC community and I will miss my car dearly. It's not even gone yet, and I feel like a big part of me is gone.
And to think, we didn't even get to hit the 800rwhp mark when it was right there. sooooooooo close.
