by looking at the oil pan..soarer is situated towards the rear and the supra is front sump.. also the harness is different ....an

im gonna try putting on the sc300 ge brackets on the 1jz ...it seems as though they are different and a tad bit smaller...maybe it will help my situation..

SC300 brackets will not work. At least on my 92 it didn't. I doubt there is a change in years but it could be possible. You will need the "short" supra mounts. Supra mounts with Supra brackets or SC300 mounts with SC300 brakets.

yeah mines is a 92 also...i might have to come up on some new brackets then...

or just use the sc brackets with the sc mounts..

i put the motor in this weekend using hte supra mount si mentioned that are $55 each. don't know about any clearance issues since i'm still in process of swapping, but it all looks fine.

Do you have a soarer or supra 1jz?Im using the supra tt mounts.......and the ge brackets...ima see if i can get a hold of the tt brackets...the short ones...whats the combination u used

I also used the Supra mounts when I did my swap (soarer 1jz) no problems.

i have soarer 1jz, and using 1jz brackets
if you are already using your 2jz-ge brackets, and your 1jz-gte brackets didn't work either, wow...i really don't know what to say.

sell the motor and buy a real soarer motor? u can get em without harnesses for 800 and cheaper
