atekt: you would most likely know if something is wrong with the car. the only thing you might not be able to see is compression or any small gasket leaks but otherwise if something was wrong you would be able to tell. one thing that is always good for the motor to run at full potential is to make sure the supporting parts are in good shape; air filter, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, pvc, vac hoses, plugs, etc. all the small things do count and for the most part are pretty cheap.

edit: and yes opening up the motor by an exhaust and a good intercooler + pipes will make the motor come alive. if you want to get technical, pic a power level, what turbo(s) you want in the end and build the system to be the most efficient under those circumstances.

I was doing 265rwhp @ 10psi with open DP, stock smic, and exhaust cam retarded 2.5 degrees with a leaky BOV (confirmed leaky). With my new turboXS on there along with my 3in DP im very confidant on 10psi i can get really close to the 300rwhp mark, on 15psi probably 350rwhp.

Put it on the dyno, if your doing above 250rwhp your fine.

Theres alot of little things you gotta do to make power with these cars.. just slapping on some name brand exhaust, fmic, and a boost controlll will make it quick, but if you want any real #'s you gotta retard the exhaust cam or get Crower or HKS cams.

As far as piggy back engine managment goes, there is none in the US that works good on the 1JZGTE. Emanage Blue and SAFC2 retard timing to 3-5 degrees advance total. My last dyno day a single turbo 1JZGTE on 20psi made 10 more hp then me cause of the e-blue. Its hit or miss, some ppl have success with them, some dont.

E ulitimate i havn't heard anything good or bad yet about it. Gotta wait for the crazy aussies to get it figured out.

FCON V-Pro is the only way to roll on a 1JZGTE, but no one tunes them here.

Well the exhaust is on and runs alot better but I still think something is up. Hey VJ do you think my blow off could be leaking?
Slasher48 I actually went with a custom design instead. So didint even get to try these. Ill sell them to ya. I bought them off a member on here that said they work so if your interested let me know.

But back on topic do think that could be a problem?I remember you saying yours was leaking?
