Well, he got roughly 107 rwhp out of the 150 shot. Not bad at all. Possibly with some more tuning and a tweak here and there he can get closer to that elusive 150hp from a 150 shot.

But, I would still say "very respectable!" 300 rwhp will dominate a large majority of cars on the road right now. Even with the weight of the SC.

I say job well done!!! And thanks for sharing another possible avenue for us V8 guys!!!

good job man! congrates

I have a question for you guys though, with the sc400 and the safc2 do you have to retune every once and a while because the computer starts to learn what your trying to do? Or do you avoid this somehow? tell me what you guys know... lol

Teg, no matter what you do in the SC Forum on a SC4 you will get a negitive comment. I was waiting for someone to say 300 + RWHP sucks ! Everyones SC here makes 300 + RWHP or more. You should have posted in the GS Forum.

Your car can now take 95 % or better of the Lexus's here. And that 95% will be hating.

Good Dyno ! A little tunning and I am sure you can get to the 330 range, but be safe. What are your other mods ?

Congrats !

Nice job.. not sure if everyone is aware but DynoDynamics is about the lowest reading dyno I know of... the best for tuning, but not for inflating egos.

Looks like you made about 165hp baseline, so with the fuel tuning and 150shot you nearly doubled your whp - nice! I bet it is enjoyable to drive, nitrous is fun

I'm not sure if you are stopping there or if you are going to give in to the nitrous temptation of going more and more.. but you may consider pulling some timing (or use racegas) if you go more - and also keep the tranny in mind.. maybe set up a window switch to keep it from spraying during the shifts as a starting point.

Keep up the good work

thanks guys! Its fun to drive with the nitrous! Pulls very nice. huge torque! And I noticed a small improvement when driving off the bottle.

Plenty here for me to take in. I've run nitrous on a few previous cars but I still have lots to learn.

Some more fine tuning would defintely help and maybe provide better #s with nitrous. I am going to get an exhaust done and then I'm going to need my credit card to cool off a bit ! ha

Turbo6: Interesting idea on the window switch. I never even considered the fact that it would stop the flow of nitrous between shifts. I do worry about the tranny. I'm lucky in that I can run 94 octane daily.

Xir: as far as I know this ecu does not relearn and will not correct the adjustments the safcII is making.

vipsoarer: A catch can would be a simple install I'm interested in that. On which line would you recommend putting the catch can ?

i would put the catch can in between the pvc valves and the intake tract where it recirculates. this is where you will collect the most oil and is the easiest to do. If you feel like going more hardcore there are always more places to tap into.
