EGR Code 71 Check Engine Light Question.. Help needed
Ok, I did a bunch of searching and located several people who have removed, plugged, had issues with, and/or had the Code 71 Check engine light.
Nobody has yet to post pictures of what the EGR looks like. So here they are (I think). Unless I mapped myself to the wrong part.
My question is, how do I clean the filter in the modulator? Some people said that if the car is running perfectly but I still have the Code 71 then it is the modulator and not the valve itself.
I'm not looking to remove and plug it, I just want to clean it. Anyone know how? I'm assuming this is the EGR Assembly.

you got the right part, just take it off and spray brake cleaner inside and out, shake well until clear liquid comes out, You gonna see how dirty inside it is filled with nasty carbon. Shake well and dry it and reinstall, I got it done couple weeks ago and runs good now, my car was jumping all the time with code 71, and reset ecu by removing battery - plug
