Hey Guys thanks for the compliments on the coating.
I did bore the motor out for the forged pistons.
I melted the edges on the new pistons already cause of a bad injector.
That is why the motor is apart again.

This time its getting the 98 GS400 MLS head gasktes, a new injector. and different turbos.
57mm vs the previous 60mm

Bob, yes, the upper intake manifold...Looks like Chris really welded and sanded down the additional spark plug bungs/ports on it. Looks very clean....

Ryan originally, i thought you said welding on the throttle body, and I'm not sure what your talking about on the manifold about spark plug ports.

The spark plugs are in the head, and go through the valve cover.
Inless you mean the 8 additional fuel injector bungs.

"The spark plugs are in the head, and go through the valve cover." Bob, I know that...I am speaking about the 8 additional ones...I believe Chrisman welded the additional bungs on the air intake chamber (plenum) directly in the runners???

Maybe I am confused and I do not know where Chris actually welded them...

I have 8 additional fuel injectors 16 total. 8 additional in the intake manifold.
the motor only has 8 spark plugs, and they are in the original location.

Gee Whiz, Bob...I must apologize...I now understand why I have been confusing you... I just now realized that I kept referring to the additional injector bungs a spark plug bungs... Sorry dude...I believe I have been working too much lately... Forgive me buddy...

so far we have just been using the stock cams.
I've only done a little research on the cams, and they were expensive
