At WOT all V-8s sound alike. System configuration and mufflers change the tone. Mustangs sound great off idle. The firing order is what gives them that sound. A 5.0L (even the 4.6-v8) mustang with Flows and an H pipe sounds incredible off idle. Chevys do not sound as good as Fords off idle.

Ford V8 Firing order = 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
Chevy V8 Firing order = 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

Can someone tell me the Lexus V8 firing order?

Doesn't firing order also change the power you'll receive?
