Isn't kirk running a different turbo?

Anyways realisticly it should take you about 20psi to make that power. And if you're boosting 20psi there is a slight chance you will start seeing some knock also which would mean you will need to run some higher octane gas/race gas (socal only has crap 91).

I am running 17psi and i am not making 500hp

chidoks: AEM explains the higher numbers from your tuner. Being able to adjust timming is where the extra hp is comming from. What are you specs on the 20g? That just seems a little small for the 2jz since i use to run a tdo6 20g on my mr2 which is a 4banger. Good numebrs if your making 345rwhp/370rwtq on 12psi on such a small turbo. Is that with just piggybacks or standalone?

I'm using AEM where's my 500hp?!?! haha
There are a lot of variables that come in play. Like where i get tuned their dyno puts load on car to simulate real street and track use unlike dyno jets. This particular dyno shows lower hp rating (i think they said like 15-20%)

I remember asking DaveH a long time ago that i was planning on making 500hp on the pt61on pump and he just laughed at me... and told me maybe with a full race gas tune.

You didn't mention that before on your last post? You're aware that does make a significant difference in power output right.

LOL. You don't have enough stickers which is why you don't have 500hp j/k. Not all dynos are created equal. I wasn't affirming that the AEM was what caused the hp discrepancy but a main factor as to why his tuners numbers might be higher. It may be possible but it certainly isn't the norm to make 500 on pump gas with a 61mm turbo.

Im just curious what hp do you make on pump gas?
