to those who said the swap is a waste... maybe for those who want to be slow or dont desire any kind of power. the trans is a must have for any one going for over 600 hp. you will also need trans mount, slave cylinder as well as a few other small priced parts. you can have a custom 1 piece aluminum drive shaft cut for 250 or less (got quoted for mine for $214 from a local shop) ive also seen a few trans in good condition going for around $2000

Swap in the V160 manual tranny off the Supra TT, then get the Torsen LSD off the same car...You can find both used for a reasonable price. There was just a good deal on ebay for $800 on the tranny that can handle 4 digit horsepower...

I am considering this swap on my sc400....There are a few people doing this on Lextreme.com forums... Step by step swap info....
