where does the sub-oxygen sensor connect?
I have a '92 SC400. My check engine and traction control light are "on" and my mechanic said it is my driver-side sub oxygen sensor. However, he can't find where it connects and is talking about needing to tear up carpeting. That sounds drastic. Does anyone know where the sensor connects to? Also, he doesn't think it's my catalytic converter, even though, according to him, sub sensors rarely fail. Thanks in advance.

he is right
but that is NO drasic at all.
just must pull up carpet, nearly central console about at shifter position. there is black is connector for sub oxy sensor: one is on driver side and another on passenger side. no drastic at all. no even need for seat removing .
there is procedure to test sub sensors to be sure is oxy sensor malfunction.
what code do you have???
