Default Tranny Oil Pan Cost?

well i changed my tranmission fluid the other day and i changed it to the royal purple and so everyone knows it made a difference. MY car shifts so much smoother. Well my plug got stripped and i heard i can use a different plug and make diff. threads but i think it would be a hassle. SO how much will a new auto. tranny oil pan with gasket and plug run me?
O yea id like to know how hard it is to replace this pan?

Go buy a Heli-Coil kit, tranny filter and gasket. Drain the fluid, remove all of the bolts retaining the pan to the tranny and pry the pan away from the tranny with a short pry bar. Take some Brake Kleen and spray the pan to clean it. Remove or scrap any RTV sealent. Remove the filter from tranny and put new one on. Once pan is clean put gasket on and put the bolts in to hold gasket alighned with holes. Hand tighten all the bolts and then torque to 18-20lbs.

Helicoil- The instructions should be on the package of purchase. Take your time.

I second helicoil. When done properly the new threads can be stronger than the originals.

I have a pan too.. $60 shipped. I'd sell you a whole tranny for $120 plus shipping. I have 2JZGE parts comming out of my ears. I have three OBD1 2JZGE sc300 parts motors.
