I say blame management. They probally said "make it smaller" and "we want our products to last only 3-5 years so the consumer needs to keep purchacing". It's greedy corperations that are the ones to be lined up.

I have been procrastinating (sp) this for a very long time. I don't even know where my plugs are, guess I will have to find them ahhaha.

I still can't help with the 2 hours of cursing that will follow. Lexus came up with this ingenious idea that they'd stick plastic connectors in the center of the head........ So every connector you go to remove will break from heat exposure.

O.L.T. your not my hero anymore I take that back this sucks . Wheres the best place to get the plastic connectors?

they didn't seem to be absolutely needed. they are just a snap lock for the wires on the coils holding them extra tight.

i'm not replacing them.

Timed I got all six sparkplugs changed within 17 minutes start to finish.
