It needs to be rebuilt with a stronger thrust washer and fork to be useful for high horse power na-t applications (factor in another $500 with labor costs at least). Then you need to get a custome shifter linkage made (more $$$). And don't forget the shifter fork needs to be a custom one (more $$$). And lets not forget a custom driveshaft needs to be made for the R154 ($500) AND the speedometer will not work correctly (more $$$ to fix)... Ooops, you also need the slave cylinder and line and a good clutch (~$700)....the list goes on Turboing 5-speed sc300's properly will always cost more than turboing an auto IMHO regardless of whether it's a getrag or R154 transmission swap.
