1jz or 2jzgte: which swap is easier to do?
wanted to find out which swap is easier to do. I want to swap my motor, but am debating on which motor to go with. I want the easiest swap possible.

Hahaha asking myself the same question over here, although the level of difficulty is not the issue for me. I just can't decide on which motor would be better. 2jz is bigger and more powerful, but I don't really like straight line/drag driving, I love going through the mountains in the twisties. I think the 1jz would be better over there. I am not sure though, I would love to hear the pros and cons.

Personaly you spend 4k on a 2jzge and youve got the basic same set up turbo and so on and so forth, better flowing head....and idk....I just dont see a real reason to go 1jz, and just because i dont see the purpose doesnt mean its not worth while.
Im sure some of the 1guys will have some reasons .....

Not 1jz, but its cheap and its made for the car. Why not. Along the lines of what you want, this car is really kinda a straight line car. If you wanted somthing that was fun in the curves I would of gone with a different car. You can really go any route. If it was me I would either go 1jz or NA-t with a smaller turbo so its spooling faster for curvy driving. Just because of the price difference.
