my Soarer front clip came with a turbo timer already installed on it and we were going to switch it over to my SC. just wondering, its not an auto turbo timer, so i am wondering how long it should be set for before the car shuts off ...any answers?

 

it depends really on how hard you drive your car.. if you drive it really hard then you should have it set a little higher.. i opted for 1min..good enough not to low or to high..

 

1 min for short stops and easy drives
3 or 5 mins for night parking after some boost and hard drives.

that's what i'd do, and what all my turbo buddies do.

 

3 mins is more than long enough. For everyday regular driving, I just leave mine set at 1 min.
