Engine dying after a burn out.
Has anyone had a problems with their cars dying after a burn out or pushing it hard? I notice that the "check engine" light comes on and the engine dies if I don't keep it in a high rev.

The only problems is my car dying. It does not shake or vibrate. This is what happened: 1) Did a burn out, 2) Drive for a little until I hit a stop light, 3) engine light comes on and the RPM weakens at idle, 4) engine dies. Also when I begin to slow down, while in second gear, my engine dies if I don't keep the RPMs high. After the car rests for a little, it's back to normal and drives great with no problems, I can also push it. It pretty much seems this only happens if I do a burn out, which was done twice.

I'm pretty sure its called the "anti-fun" switch. This seems to be a problem with japanese luxury automobiles. I was enlightened on the topic when this first happened to me in my 1997 Infiniti Q45. I was having a grand 'ol time doing some donuts in a parking lot. When I stopped, I noticed my engine was off. It scared the **** out of me, because in my state of fluster, I kept trying to start my car when it was in drive and of course it wouldn't. Didn't have any problems once I figured that out.
