EBay turbo?
#3
Sometimes they're good, but sometimes they're bad. Read the reply's (from ebay seller) and see if he had negative or positive response. There was a case when a person bought a turbo from ebay and the seller had a "messed up" turbo. It was in bad condition such as a turbo with grime on it, cracked piping, etc. I don't really trust ebay that much.

I wouldnt touch 90% of the ebay turbo's with a 10 ft stick. Most are very poorly made in china using superglue in the internals. They are very cheap and might last a month or a few...I would recommend finding someone selling one that needs rebuild and doing it that way.

not all ebay turbos are put together with super glue (but its important to know that there IS a documented case about one)
i know of 3 people running an ebay turbo without any major problems. Are the turbos well balanced for the 2jzgte? I'd have to say no.
You're pretty much taking a big chance when going with an ebay turbo.... and thats up to you to decide to see how lucky you are.

If you do get one, you WILL have to change the exhaust housing, as it is meant for a diesel application, other than that, I have seen a few positive things about them for the price. If it comes down to it, get one, and test it out. They're cheap enough that you won't lose anything if it dies.
