any way to tell if engine mounts are bad?

Default any way to tell if engine mounts are bad?

i always read on engine mounts going bad and to replace them if you pull the engine. is there any sighns that they are bad? will the engine get louder or more vibration or do they just fall apart when you pull the engine out

you'll definitely notice that there's a lot of noise if they're bad. The rubber wears out on them so that there's no buffer between the engine and the frame.

oh hmm. i was just wondering cuz my engine is kinda loud. not the engine itself but you can really hear the roar in the cabin.

mkiv.com has an engine mount diagnostic test... should work just fine on the SC as well
