The good news....... I found a quicker way to the driveshaft bolts.

BUMPZIEZZZZZZ
Speaking of drive shaft, here's that dampener I told you guys to replace if you had vibration in the shifter. That'd be that purdy little black disk with the bolts in it. They call it a flex coupler.

I've only ever seen one fail, and it was on Chris Johnson's 1000+ hp Supra after a hard launch at the strip.
If there's vibration at the shifter, it's more likely the DS center bearing or tranny mount. Colapsed motor mounts could be the cause, too.

It's very unlikely the flex coupler will fail or get out of balance. I'm not sure of the rubber compound, but there is cord embedded in the coupler to give it incredible strength.

Well let me show you something.............
Try 200 HP and it just flat out got OLD.
I replaced my engine mounts, tranny mounts, tires, wheels exhaust hangers and a partridge in a pear tree before I finally got under the car and started looking up in the well at the driveshaft to replace the center bearing.
If your shifter shakes, REPLACE THE FLEX COUPLER.
It's just rubber like everything else under there you replace when it gets hard and old.

I stand corrected.

OLT, are you sure you wanna work on you car yourself? Damn, the driveshaft isn't that hard to get off and you f'ed that up and almost split your car i hate to see you doing something more serious
Regarding the rubber adapter, people, you need to stop believing that this shiat is indistructable. This POS will get you maybe to 150-200,000 in a stock shiatty car, auto and babying the car. My crap looked cracked at 80,000 in CA weather, go figure....
