i was thinking about 400 streetable, 625 is a little more than streetable, thinkof 625 when its raining and its your everyday driver, you need to switch lanes so you go to turn and some guy is coming up quick, so you hit the gas a ltitle, and being an auto it downshifts for you and you spinn out cuz the 600 hp is letting loose on the wet road....600 is not streetable

Back to the core of the topic though...
Does anyone know of a good bolt on twins setup for the 1JZ?
How about the USDM supra twins? They're a bit bigger than the 1J twins, aren't they? Do they bolt right up? Are they good for more power?
I think my stock 1JZ twins may be on their last leg. Without having to move to a new exhaust manifold, are there options for more power?
Second question: If I convert from stock twins to a single turbo, what do I need to get and what is a good turbo recommendation for a streetable SC. I've got 300+ to the wheels now and I want more, but I love the lack of turbo lag on the stock twins. I know I'll need a new exhaust manifold and a turbo... what else? As for turbo, what's the hot setup for no lag and good power on the 1JZ? Garret GT series?
TIA,
Marcus

i am also looking into a twin upgrade, but for the amount of time i have put into it there is no twin kit that will put out 650+. i was just at a shop and saw that hks kit. its for the chaser and be ready to spend a pretty penny (8700 for a kit that has to be modified w/o engine management). i also called blitz and that will only put you in the 400hp range (you can get to 600, but i have yet to see a good tunning shop). so i was told to call xs-engineering and they are moving but once the move is complete i will be stopping by (unless my fab guy gives me a deal i can't pass up). so far the solution for me is to get the k26 turbos and fab the mess out of them to fit pretty since the car needs turbos asap. there is a guy on the sf forums putting down 477hp with the same setup and he is at low boost. the other guy is around 523hp and they have dyno sheets to prove, however i don't need more than 450hp to keep my car sideways.
