Looking for some input....
I just bought a SC300 with GT42 turbo, aftermarket intake manifold & throttle body... the car is on the stock sc auto transmission (th400 is on the way) but until then i'd like to drive the car around on its low boost (12psi).
Here is what is happening. The both trac lights are on constantly, as is the check engine light. My question is, since I have an aftermarket throttle body, the traction control should be pretty much eliminated, correct?
When my car comes into boost, it almost acts like it hits fuel cut or something, it surges off hard then trys to come back on. like a stutter, but this is more like it completely shuts down...
---
I have an AEM on the way, so that should resolve it once i get that hooked up, but i was wondering if I could somehow get it to act normal so I can at least drive the car around for a while.

i dont know much about the sc300 turbos, but i have a sc300 with a 1jz and mine did that as well(the fuel cut off), i needed to buy a GReddy BCC, its a boost cut defenser, it allows for more boost without fuel cut out, look into that

2 TRAC lights?
There is only one Trac Light. This Trac generally comes on regardless whenever the CEL is on.
If the other light you think is a trac light is towards hte upper left of the RPM, and looks like squiggles coming out of the back, thats a tail-light failure indicator.

i wouldnt think that would apply here, as the SC300 are naturally aspirated stock and should have no boost cut

I am thinking more towards tunning itself. What engine management is used at this moment? Sounds like you might just be too rich. Does it bogg until lets say 3.5k rpm and all of sudden opens up like a champ? then Probably tunning, check the computer.
Also check FPR and see how much fuel is getting dumped in there at idle. I think it should be around 45~50 psi......Not quite sure though, its on top of my head.
