Im looking all over for the 3 bolt flanges that you used on the manifold. Where did you get them?

Do you have a helpfull answer? I ask because you have done this before I think? I just pulled my 1UZ out and am going to do the swap, Ive done a few 1J swaps in a MKIII and a cressida, just not in a SC 3 or 400. Just wanted to know if its the body pulgs that people get freaked out about. Sounds like as long as you have both wiring diagrams for the 1J ECU and SC400, you will be fine.

If you have done the above swaps, then the sc will be easy. Most of the time all you have to do is extend harness, ground a wire and bypass a resistor if it is a soarer 1j swap .

You will need soarer driveshaft, same as sc3, Soarer radiator with shroud ,sc300 coolant overflow tank custom ac and powersteering linesor sc 300 ac lines and compressor top. Relocate powersteering tank ,extend pps wire and alternator and you should be all set. You dont nee ecu diagrams to wire up the motor. Hope this helps clarify things better .

Thanks bro. How much did you extend the harness on the SC, like maybe 18"?

I've been searching and wondering about pricing. Does anyone know if I can get a 1jz/r154 to swap into my sc400 with everything I need to do the swap under 3k? I am thinking of getting a shop to do the swap for me, as I am a little unsure about the wiring aspect of it. Keep in mind I have some mechanical experience and have done some car audio, my dad used to own a repair shop, anyone think we can be able to do this by ourselves? And what would be the average labor charge for a shop to do this? Thanks a lot for the help
