Moris, is there a big difference between 400whp and 500whp on the SC's?...I would think you would just be a little faster on the back end and that would be it...Isn't traction a nightmare after 400whp?....The back ends are very light in weight as you know.... I experienced major wheel spin in first and second with around 325-350whp, which I have achieved once or twice on a major heated bottle nos run....Burnout city in both gears...Third stuck....First gear was absolutely rediculous....My 2200 stall rate torque converter doesn't help matters either when it comes to big HP's...Progressive power is needed for sure...

Funny you should mention progressive power. There is a huge difference between 400 and 500 if you ask me. (I have a GS400 by the way not to confuse anyone.) At 500 hp I cannot floor it on the street, I have to manage the throttle. If I give it to much gas the front end feels like it wants to lift up and the rear end gets all squirilly, very frightening in deed. I also have 285's in the rear you would thnk the traction would be better. Things are much better at a track that has been treated though. I havent had the chance to run 500 hp at the track by the way only lower hp. But you could tell the difference between street and strip.

Another thing that I dont think people realize unless you have been there. Is that at 55 or 60 mph on the highway if you floor it you can break the rear end loose again pretty scary if you ask me.
Finally with that much HP I dont drive the car if the temp is under 45 degrees, the tires break loose to easily.
