I am not 100% sure, I have heard the intake might need a little modification but I dont know for sure. I know it can be done but at what cost and effort? If you choose to venture down this path I would be glad to help out anyway I can.

Good to hear shes running good . When do you plan on throwing her on a dyno to see what type of numbers she puts down?

I bought premium at the same station I always do, I called there home office and they said it was a wide spread problem to all their branches. They said the main supply hub had water in the gas. They are paying 100% of my dealer fees plus giving me a full tank of gas.
I will sleep better tonight!

Glad to hear it was just bad gas...If it will run off 7 lbs without tuning, fantastic! You must be noticing the difference now. Probably feels like your car woke up, and means business, doesn't it?
Keep us posted...

Ryan,
Right now it does seem to be running good without tuning but I don’t intend to pick any races prior to tuning. I basically have it configured to be able to drive to the dyno, then the higher boost pulley goes on and the tuning will be done.
I haven’t drove it hard for more than 2 second bursts as of yet but I must say those two seconds are a lot of fun! It’s like a total different car! There's no sound like a SC400 with a supercharger on it, it sounds like a F40, it is amazing! This Ported supercharger I bought is known for its sound under boost and it didn’t disappoint me. I love it.

Just to clear the air, I wanted to make mention of this.
This is a great kit, and as delivered to me was not intended to be a 100% bolt on kit. The guys at Richwood (Andrew) are extremly helpfull and have engineered this kit very well. As with and custom application you will encounter a few snags along the way. Some of my choices like the supercharger I chose actually made my install even less bolt-on. I would recomend this kit to anyone considering it, its a good kit!
I would like to thank Andrew for all his assistance! With out this kit my car would be just another NA SC400.

The heads from the 1997 to the 1998 year are very different in the angle of the ports so you'd need a manifold specific to that 1998-2000. I thought that Richwood actually did have an application though, you just have to be very specific when ordering.

i'm just trying to clear up one issue, you had to fabricate some things. my biggest concern is the mounting plate. did you choose a slightly different blower than richwood recommends? if you purchase their install kit precisely for one of their recommended blowers, the actually mounting process should be trouble free?
p.s. did richwood themselves say no fuel system upgrades were needed? i hate to keep doubting, but i found some posts directly from mr. andrew at richwood himself, where he said they were able to achieve 300hp with a rising rate FPR, piggyback, colder plug, stock intake box w/ high performance filter.
