Scott, where did you mount the cold start injector - in the base of the supercharger manifold?

Ordered my Innovate LC1 and G3 gauge with matching boost gauge today. Fabricator has advised that everything is ready to go once the cold start is drilled into the manifold. Getting closer!

Any teaser info on your new setup Scott?

Matt.

On my system I did not use the cold start injector. If you do use it, it needs to go on the rear intake of the supercharger, not in the manifold as it did on the stock setup.

Impressive is under rated. Personally I think you will have the BADDEST SC4 in the world. You will make many vet owners cry.

Coming from the absolute "KING OF V8 POWERED LEXUS" that statement means a lot! David and his high end aftermarket V8 performance parts is the foundation for this build! Stay tuned to see what Lextreme brings to the table for this build

I did look at that motor but that is David's Project. No 5.7 here but that would be awesome!

I wish I was preparing to go house shopping soon or I'd take on the 5.7L project

Thanks Scott - can't wait to see what you have planned.

How does the motor start without the cold start injector? I had read that the main injectors don't begin firing until the motor has actually started and that without the cold start 1000cc injector the motor wouldn't fire.

Why can't it go in the base of the manifold like the original? Looking at my setup it certainly looks like it would go there easily.

Cheers
Matt.

The idle control valve is the black piece that is on the front of the intake and connects to the intake trunking, the cold start injector is connected to the fuel rail and originally mounts underneath the factory manifold.

I don't have any pictures unfortunately.

Cheers
Matt.
