2jzgte / 1jzgte help.......
I'm wondering if anyone can give me an idea of whats invloved FROM A WIRING aspect in doing either swap. I don't want to give up my Auto tranny if possible. Im contemplating doing the swap , just not sure how its going to swing time wise. I can do the swap with no problems and have all the parts to upgrade either one. Will either one bolt up to the existing tranny and such other than wiring ? If there is a thread on this then please direct me to it....
thanks a bunch!

I asked the same question except i just wanted to know if a 1JZ or 2JZ would fit my SC400....and the difficulty level in installing it with a new tranny because im trying to get rid of the auto because my car is set for drifting

The swap is very easy, especially if you only extend the body plugs and not the complete harness. This was my first swap ever, so easy. Use the soarer tranny, I thinks it's smoother shifting tranny, and will handle a bit more power. Everything you need to know is on this website, just search.
