i am running flex 220s, using just a temp sensor w/ fuse + relaybox from pep boys.

wired it up so it kicks on when needed...

I've had great luck with PermaCool fans from Summit Racing. Inexpensive, incredible volume output, and low power consumption. You can purchase from the same mfg a temp/probe/switch that will run the fans directly from the battery (even run a bit after shutdown, like many cars these days)
