Upgraded ECU? Good idea?
Just wondering what you guys have to say about upgrading or modifying the ECU....there's a company in Huntington Beach called JET Performance, I heard they're pretty good!!
Any input?

I've heard that an increase of 10-12% is to be expected from Jet's ecu upgrade, however, another company that sells an intake and clamp-circuit combo has only allowed for 10-12 hp with their setup.
I'm going to be happy with the stock ecu, since smog is an issue.
For mixture control,an apexi fuel controller will give you adjustability all over the place for less $ than the ecu mods.

stay away from JET... they are the stupidest ECU company i have ever seen... all they do is remove the rev limiter, the speed limiter, and give you an intake and say the ECU increases power and it doesn't....
don't bother with a ECU upgrade... I'd get a Apexi' S-AFC/Intake/Exhaust combo and you'll be very happy...
JET SUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSS
they don't do anything at all to the chip except remove limiters which does nothing for hp
do i need to reinterate?
