Electric Vacume turbo charging?
Well now that the electric charger has been beaten down along with Ronald McDonald....I must now try and get your thoughts on the potential of a powerful vacume electric motor that could possiblly aid in the extraction of exhaust gases?
Is it possible? Some are beginning to work on inline 3" exhaust vacume electric motors to do just that...Here is the concept pic...
Any substance to this? Oh and I am not considering this application on my SC4 just inquiring....:
The Sc400 V8 motors probably will never see any real gains with any electric motor applications is my guess, but the smaller and "less powerful" 6 and 4 banger motors may gain a few ponies at idle or lower rpms......Maybe?

NO! It won't really gain anything. YOu will loose low end torque and minimal gains at the top of the power band. Think no exhaust or straight through exhaust on 4 banger. =

There is no point to this, especial in a NA car u will interrupt the natural air flow in the exhaust system (just like using BIG exhaust piping) which = less ponies. A FI car doesn’t need it because it is blowing the exhaust out with more force all you need to do is open the exhaust up.

Jibby,
Let's give this type of topic a rest when I've just closed a very similar thread.
I might have considered letting it stay open, but your "Ronald McDonald" beat dpwmn comment was antagonistic bait and shows you really don't understand the reason the last thread was closed, or don't care.
