Default help: my gas needle is stuck. what could be the problem?

hello you all, my gas needle is stuck at Empty.
i haven't driven the sc300 for 2 weeks. and the gas was empty so i filled her up with gas today.

and then, i noticed that the gas needle still indicated empty.
the needle never went up.

what could be the problem for this?
the gauge cluster needles worked fine last time i drove

anyone with similar problems or past experiences?

any inputs would be appreciated!
thanks
JP

Gas "float" Sensor a little loopy?

I had a problem like that with a Legend, turned out it was a Floaty Deal in the tank.

Yep. Either the float or the sending unit.

happened to me also after i got my needles redone, doubt this is the case if you diddnt tamper with it but here it goes. The needle was pushed on too much so the back of the needle was touching the cluster and causing it to stick only when it was low, if i filled it up and smacked the dash over and over it would pass the stick point and be fine as long as i diddnt let it get low again. fix was to pull needle out a lil bit.

Mine stayed at E, turns out the gauge itself was bad in mine. I replaced it with one from a guy on the boards here and it works great now.
