I need to do a compression test on an sc300 w/ 1jz that I will pick up this weekend. What compression should it have? and other stuff that I need to inspect. Thanks for all the help guys.

180-190 sounds a tad high for 8.5:1 CR...
follow the lines on the chart, a healthy motor will be somewhere between the two slopes... if it's higher, it probably has some carbon buildup, if it's lower, it's rings are leaking... higher is not horrible always, just a sign the engine needs a little cleaning internally...

hey everyone wanted to know what the compression rate(psi) was for a Lexus.
Its a 1991 Ls 400 with 235K miles on it. The numbers I got for each cylinder were:#1-200,#2-225,#3-210,#4-225,#5-209,#6-222,#7-210,#8-225. I repeated the test twice, still same numbers. If anyone can help me with this that would be great. Thanks
