It will depend on your manifold and turbo choice.

Majority of the strut tower bars made for the JZA80 supra will clear. My bar clears my T78 with about 1.5" to spare.

 

Strut tower bars for the SC's are very overrated...There is little flex in the chasis front ends of these vehicles to begin with....I would love to hear about anyone claiming their was a change in handling, stability, etc when after installing a strut tower bar....I know from my experiences nothing was felt or noticed....

 

I have no issues with the T61 and my front Front Strut Tower Bar. However, I share Jibbby's opinion as to performance gains.

Informed feedback is that there is a slight improvement only on race tires. Street tires flex so much you will never notice the difference.

it may not prove much performance gains, but it sure does make the engine bay a lot prettier
