Well, I have one more tip for you guy's. Sometimes the dildomatic bounces or shakes going down the road even with good mounts. There is one more thing to change and O-M-G does it ever make the final difference in how your car rides.
If you have any shake or vibration in your gear shifter at ALL replace the FLEX COUPLER. It mounts between the drive shaft and the output of the transmission.
I have new mounts on the engine and tranny and still had a slight vibration and movement in my dildomatic. After changing the FLEX COUPLER I can now say the car really is like new. Of course, I have always preached to replace ALL rubber under the car and this is part of it. I just wanted to add an image.
This is what MINE looked like, but just being old and hard is enough to cause vibration and movement in the dildomatic

Sweet!
Thanks man!
I've been wondering about this vibration since I replaced the engine mounts & tranny mounts 8 months ago. I have searched and searched, but never got any solutions.
I will give Luis at Carson a call tomorrow to get this flex coupler.
Btw, Is it hard for DIY?

My SC has 160k miles on it and when pulling the motor, the flex coupler was in perfect shape. If you're driveline was out of alignment, there's a good chance that it got messed up too. My tranny mount was fine but the motor mounts were both broken when I pulled the motor. I got a good chuckle out of it for sure
