Default Exhaust concept...

I would like you know what you guys think if this rendering I did of what I'm working on. The tips edges will be a bit more rounded. I have already removed the spare tire well to make room for the centered mufflers and the rear skirt is being reworked to add in the center hold and remove the dual side ones.

I do plan on keeping the dual set up I have right now that goes from single 3" to dual 2.5", I figure 2 mufflers before each tip will be quieter than one muffler on single piping all the way back.

The design of the tips will most likely change as I get closer to finishing the car

I like it, you could put the mufflers like midway in the system and run pipes to those tips to make the install at the rear easier.

It's neat but seems like alot of work for the looks. if you're realling going that far, why not bring it up higher? Like between the tail lights or something.

no no, i'm not dissing you, i totally respect the idea. i'm just saying if you're going that far, might as well go crazy with it. the original top secret supra (they ran green cars waaaay back then) had a dual exhaust like this that came out either between the tails or halfway up the bumper. (can't remember which) either way, it was very sick and the fact that i remember it shows what an impression it makes. anyways, my suggestion is round or oval tips either halfway up the bumper or between the tails. The rounder tips would fit the round bodystyle better IMO

I didnt take it as a diss at all, but there is a difference between tastefull and crazy.

i really like the idea a lot. the only thing i would recomend is a tip style that fits the bodystyle of the car more ( without the angular sides)

do some more photoshops of different style

looks awesome though so far

I agree with you on the shape of the tips, this is why it was done on PS first.
I'm thinking more like dual ovals now.

It's pretty cool, but I can see a lot of damage happening to your rear bumper because of it. Turbo cars with short exhausts (ones that don't stick out far past the rear bumper) tend to singe and sometimes even melt the rear bumper. I can see even more problems from it being embedded within the exhaust, as that bottom part underneath it may soon deform.
