I got a 92 SC400 for $3400 with a few minor issues-- but it ran awesome all the way back from Dallas, so I'm really confident it's in good running condition...

The car is solid as a rock, good interior, good sheet metal, ZERO rust-- just needs bushings and mounts...... BUT, it's auto.... : pfft :

What I'm wondering is how difficult it would be to get a manual soarer clip and convert the auto to manual, using all the parts..

I know it would be a hefty job, but I would tackle it over a good period of time, with no deadline really.....

My real question is this: Would I be better off trying to resell the SC400 and picking up a SC300 5 spd with the pedals and trim pieces already in place, or just keep the SC400 since I know what condition it's in, and use the m/t clip to swap it to manual myself....

Hopefully this isn't considered a thread hijack....
sc 300 and 400 is the same car the only difference is the drivetrain .you probably will have to run 2 wires if so much .keep the 400 if it is in good shape

Go 1jz and a big turbo NA-T is more than the swap would be. I have a 92 sc 400 and after being on this forum and learning everything I know now I went out and bought a sc300 for a drama free swap......
