Default Battery Terminals

Just a quick question. If I remember correctly in order to swap out new ones, you just need to crawl under the engine and unscrew the connections from the terminal to the engine right?

just buy new heads...cut the other ones off, and clamp the new ones on...

Well they're kinda pushing old age as far as wiring is concerned. Opinions?
