wow...as long as it took you to respond with rude search button responses you could have simply said cost. I did a search.... sorry for getting people upset over something so small.

6-spd swaps are more expensive then the auto swap deffenitly but its really not that big of a difference considering the amount of money spent on the total swap. Atleast I don't think its that big of a difference. I mean, its about $1500-$3000 depending on prices you get the tranny for and if your sticking the 6-spd in an auto, then you have to buy all the 6-spd iten to convert it over.

A proper 6-Speed swap is going to be AT LEAST 4K more. Probably more in the 5-7K range. Ive learned the hard way. There is no 'cheap' way around it.
Add that to the 3-5K cost of the 2JZGTE, and your looking at some serious cash. Thats why you dont see them done often.

It would pretty much cost you as much as the purchase of a late model SC to do the complete swap properly and cleanly. It is by no means cheap! There's the cheap way of doing things and there's the right way.

True,
plenty of TT swaps with the Getrag 6-speed. You'll need the tranny, differential from a Supra, shortened driveshaft, slight tunnel modification, and lots of parts if converting from an automatic.

sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but technically if you could find a donor 6 speed twin turbo supra wouldnt that be pretty easy? like maybe finding a USDM 6 speed 2JZGTE and everything needed (front clip) and then trying to get the drive shaft and rear end? or is the rear end not needed?
