Why don't more people use the TT SMIC?

All I am saying is that for my current setup and goals it works perfect. The IC was in pretty good condition when I bought it. I am not to worried about it breaking. I have had no problems, except for the heatsoaking which is now fixed with a fan. Plus I love the sleeper look, but then again I like the look of the FMIC lol. But a year down the road I will probably upgrade, might even be a few years when I get a getrag v160.

ditto^ also.....mesh serves more of a purpose than to hide the IC, it is to stop rocks and other debris from hitting and damaging it.....just in case you didnt know....which you probably did......but it looks soooo much better open and smiling at you

Well after installing the fan, the IC had no more problems heatsoaking, and the car was running great. I think the fan pushes out like 800cfm or so.

Ok well my only point was that I don't have access to a great deal of money and that I am satisfied with my tt smic.
